Golf Map is great tool to help you navigate your way around the golf course.
Designed to quickly display the key information you need.
Take actions using simple big buttons.
Get a detailed view of where you are on the course and what lies ahead.
Measure distances to any point on the course.
Keep track of golf shot distances per club.
Refer to your club distance average to select the right club for your next shot.
There are no subscription or course download fees.
Any course viewable in the Maps application will be displayed in Golf Map.

USAGE NOTES
GPS drains battery power, click the power button to put your phone to sleep between shots. The application has been designed to provide maximum GPS accuracy while using a minimum amount of battery power.
Maps may take time to load over 3G, minimize the wait by viewing the course prior to the round when connected to Wi-Fi, and save on data download charges.
GPS accuracy can vary, waiting a few seconds will allow time for the phone to lock in your location.
GPS does not work indoors.
Hit the Green Action button to center your current location.
Hit the Red Action button to center your current location and optionally save your shot distance.
Drop down Purple distance flags – just press and hold anywhere on the map.
Click on purple flags to get display distance or drag pins.

This is a very useful app for any golfer. Because it uses satellite mapping, virtually every course is available. I especially like the ability to check multiple distances from my current lie for such things as hazard edge and clearance, layup positioning, etc. Easy to use with excellent views including zoom and pan. Nice for keeping track of club distance stats as well.
This app took 5 strokes off my game. Must have app!!
1.1 version auto updates the distance to flags as you move around the course, this is a nice improvement to the 1.0 version that only gave distance from the green start flag. Drop down a flag on the green at the start of the hole, will update distance remaining as you play the hole. Also, allows you to check distance for any playing partners since the distance is calculated from your current position. 1.0 version Easy to use, get the distance to any point on the course. Rotate and zooming allows you to get the best view of the course. GPS distances seemed accurate. I like that you can store distances for all clubs, keeps a running average per club. Images of the course looked really nice on my phone.
